RETREATS AND WELLNESS
Build Lasting Relationships
Residents participate in annual retreats through both the pediatrics program and the PM&R program. Other residents and/or attendings provide coverage allowing residents to attend retreats. These are scheduled throughout the year.

Pediatrics residents attend a 2 day retreat in Rehoboth, Delaware each year (PGY 1-3). Residents from the other classes provide coverage for the class to attend. Retreats are filled with team building activities, feedback, and themes! They are one of the favorite activities of the residency program!

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ABOUT THIS PROGRAM?
“While interviewing my favorite part of the program was the culture and people in it. Everyone was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and caring. I felt like the things that were important to me personally were also important to the group of people that I would potentially be working with. There is a great sense of community amongst everyone.”
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS PROGRAM?
“At the end of the program, you are trained to be well rounded and capable pediatric physiatrists. You don’t need to sacrifice being a competent pediatrician or physiatrist along the way.”
